The Virtual Classroom Experience

A classroom full of people using laptops for learning.

UNH Boot Camps blends informative lectures with individual and collaborative group exercises. Students simulate a professional environment by working independently and in teams, inside and outside the virtual classroom. By diving into complex homework assignments and projects, students get hands-on practice using their newly acquired skills. Through a dynamic learning experience and robust portfolio projects, you’ll get real insight into a “day in the life” of a full-stack web developer professional.

To give students a truly immersive learning experience, we provide an intimate virtual class setting with a low instructor to student ratio. In addition to our talented instructional team, students have dedicated TAs to provide wide-ranging support.

The whole curriculum is built around creating a presence for yourself and is designed to build a portfolio of apps, which is rewarding in and of itself.

— Jamie Leask, June 2017 Cohort

Students do all of their coursework via laptop, eliminating the need for books or additional class materials. Our course structure is broken up into three main groups.

A group of people gathered around, focused on a computer screen, sharing ideas and discussing together

Discussion

Instructor-led discussions cover the history, usage, and background of a new technology or concept.

Lab Work

You’ll put the material covered in virtual classes into action by working on timed exercises and projects.

Hands-On Projects

Class assignments focus on projects and applications that showcase your abilities across a wide range of technologies.
