The rigorous boot camp curriculum is delivered through high-quality coursework and live, online classes led by instructors who are fully vetted by the university. All instructors are assessed for not only their experience in the field, but also their ability to successfully communicate software development concepts to students in an online environment. Instructors deliver a quality, up-to-date curriculum and offer one-on-one guidance throughout the program.
The curriculum is designed to equip you with specialized skills that can prepare you for the next step in your career as a software developer. Boost your portfolio and stand out from the competition with AI coding tools, object-oriented programming, and Python and Typescript fundamentals.
Learn fundamental concepts of software development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python fundamentals, and AI tools like GitHub Copilot.
Portfolio Project: Build a client-side application using third-party APIs.
Work with servers, databases, and other back-end technologies, such as SQL databases, prompt engineering, and Node.js.
Portfolio Project: Engineer your first full stack application.
Develop a set of specialized skills using NoSQL databases, create full-stack applications using React, and learn computer science fundamentals like object-oriented programming, demonstrated with Python.
Portfolio Project: Create a MERN stack single-page application.

PD&T achieves its mission by offering more than 300 workshops, conferences, certificate programs, and boot camps annually to professionals from a wide variety of professions and industries.

This boot camp, offered in partnership with edX, is made available through a unique consortium delivery model to provide skills-based learning to participants across New Hampshire and beyond. Participants will be taught by a university-approved instructor, while learning alongside students from other consortium-participating universities and institutions. Upon meeting the completion requirements, participants will be issued a Certificate of Completion from UNH Professional Development & Training.
